Dear Chamber Members
We as a chamber are aware that the businesses of this community are going through a time of uncertainty, for this reason were putting together two town meetings for you to be given the opportunity to come along and tell us how we may be able to help you .We hope that these meetings will be productive and form a platform where we can work together in the interests of the community . We need to move forward and not be tied up with negativity.
This week we will be holding two meetings ,one in Ravensthorpe and one in Hopetoun so we can give as many of you the opportunity to attend . We will also be providing one on one business counsellors the following day for those of you who wish to speak to a counsellor or advisor at no cost .We only have limited numbers of spaces and you will need to book with the chamber . If demand is higher than spaces available we will look at getting these people down again.
It is not the intention of the chamber to act as a lobby group for any individual party or group nor is it the wish of the chamber to conduct or be party to any unfounded allegations .We need to identify the needs and concerns of the community before an effective plan of action can be taken.
The agenda for the week ahead is:
Wednesday night 6pm Ravensthorpe town meeting
Thursday the opportunity for one on one sessions with business counsellors , during day for Ravensthorpe businesses.
Thursday night 6pm Hopetoun town meeting
Friday the opportunity for one on one sessions with business counsellors during the day for Hopetoun businesses
We will send out an email of the details of location as we are still in the process of finalising them.
Various representatives will also be invited to these meeting as the more resources we have available for the business community the better.
